On starting this course I was very nervous and totally confused about what I was doing. Our teachers set us all at ease and were very quick to mark our bookwork and provide feedback to us. They made themselves available for questions anytime and gave us beautiful stories of their experiences to learn from. All areas of this course were well organised. We had a lot of fun with activities and manual handling with Connie and Sonya. So much fun! All our questions were teated as important and vital to our learning. Thank you for taking this journey with us and making us better carers. Thankyou for validating our needs and work out a care plan to enable us to work independently and within our scope.

Who said you can’t teach old dogs new tricks??!!! Sonya and her team from All Care Training can!! The majority of the students in the class were, well let’s say ‘mature’! We came from all walks of life and it was amazing to notice how fast our little ‘ family class’ became close and ageless! So, don’t ever let age deter you from obtaining new qualifications! Some of us just needed a new direction in life and others really needed a job! The course caters for both. I had just been forced to resign from my employment a week before, and I had fallen into this big black nasty hole. So, I was in need of a band aid!! It turns out that this course was far more than just a band aid! Soon, I became aware how much my interest had grown and how inspired I was, and still am! Sonya has wet my appetite to go on and broaden my horizon ever further in regards to ‘Dementia’ .Thank you so much Sonya! You created an environment which made studying interesting and fun!!! The course provides a smorgasbord of ideas and choices!!! A school is nothing without their good teachers in order to produce well-adjusted graduates. So, let’s go out there and infiltrate the industry with new values and new learned understanding on how to properly care for our ELDERS and those in need Do it!! WOW!!!!!! What an experience. A HUGE THANKS to Sonya and her team for my awesome training with All Care Training. I successfully completed the Certificate III in Aged Care and three days after completion I now have a job, so excited. Everyone who is interested in Aged care should train through you, you make everyone so positive with all the theory and practical and your wonderful way of teaching. Six weeks training fulltime and I thought I wasn’t going to make it but hey I did and am so proud. Loved it. Excellent course. If anybody is reading this and thinking of doing it, DO IT you won’t regret it.

I studied with All Care Training and just finished not long ago, I have to say it was the most helpful, friendly environment to learn in. Sonya, Lee and all of our teachers were wonderful and very encouraging. I was able to accomplish things I never thought I could do!

Today I completed my Certificate III in Aged Care, what an incredible journey this was.. Day one.. our trainer Sonya told us……..this is a 6 week course, you will have head down and butt up for the entire time…. she was right, but for these reasons…. 6 weeks is not a long time, but in those 6 weeks we learnt it all… we learnt from the best… Sonya, Lee and other guest lecturers provided us with everything we needed to know…, we were in awe….. when you chose to want to learn about aged care, this place is where you go.. no soft shoe shuffles, no babying… just right down to it.. and how we do it ,the right way … at ACT they tell It like it is… hard work…. but so so.. so.. so.. very rewarding. step right into work placement and you will see that all you have learnt in a very short time, will take you exactly where you want to be.

You are being taught and guided by the best (sorry old girl Sonya) but when you are trained by someone who has had so much experience in so many different aspects of this profession you cant do wrong.

ACT provides a fantastic learning environment that gave me encouragement and fantastic support as I gained knowledge to complete my Cert III in Aged Care.  The lessons were interesting and all the trainers made it an enjoyable time, providing true to life experiences for the course topics.  Being the only male in the course was no barrier to being included in all aspects of the training.

The 6 week course is over before you know it leaving you with new friends and a whole new outlook on your life.  The work placement is fantastic and you won’t find better trainers.  You’ll find yourself laughing, crying and learning things you didn’t think possible.  I can’t thank the All Care Training ladies enough.  My life has changed for the better.  I can’t wait to start my new career.

This testimonial that I share, is with a life changing experience from my own journey. Though I have completed the intensive 6 week course, I still cannot believe I have done this, yet I have……..So my views and experience in the last 6 weeks has been amazing to say the least., It has tested me to the point of wanting to give up because I did not believe in myself that I could do it, yet the support from my (Husband) fellow students and teachers being Sonya and Lee was so beneficial and valuable, words cannot express my gratitude to this.

Where do I start! If you care about people who are elderly or injured or just old and needing a helping hand, a chat, respect or just to know people care..do this course- you will not regret it. It can be very rewarding. I did the 6 week Aged Care Certificate III course with All Care Training, scared, unsure and generally out of my depth. Now I have a position at Eden Rehabilitation Hospital in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast. I do my basic AIN duties and more. The nurses, physios and occupational therapists involve me in a wide range of aspects that enable me to care for patients needs at a high level. I am loving being able to make a difference. Making the career change was the best thing I have ever done. Do All Care Training’s course – you will truly enjoy it and you can make a difference.

My name is Reena and I am a student of All Care Training. English is my second language. I had started this course 6 weeks ago and today is my last day of this wonderful course. During my training I attended placement in a residential Aged Care Facility and a Specialist Rehabilitation Hospital on the Sunshine Coast. My trainers were very helpful throughout this course; whenever I needed help about any of my book work they were there to help me. They have been so wonderful and helpful. If anyone out there who has English as their second language, don’t be shy, go for it, you are going to get wonderful teachers.

Enrolled to do Aged Care Cert lll had me a little anxious at first going back to the classroom after working 10 years in a factory. However the structure of the course and the friendly atmosphere created by two wonderful and passionate ladies Sonya and Lee made it easy and their always positive affirmations instilled gave me the ability to complete the course with confidence. A big thank you to Sonya and Lee two beautiful people. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this course and the All Care Training team to anyone wanting to embark on a new journey

Having just completed this training with Sonya I would like to recommend her as an excellent teacher and mentor. Sonya has a great “Can Do” attitude and keeps the training inspiring, interesting and fun with relevant examples from her varied nursing experiences around Australia. Another highlight of the training with Sonya is the practical experience gained in 2 very different facilities – one being focussed on rehabilitation and the other with long stay residents and a more homely approach. From day one we were using our new skills working with buddies and gaining competence and confidence with our roles. I am so glad I have done this training with Sonya as all the discussions in the classroom and practical experience have equipped us extremely well for the workplace. Now after 6 weeks I am qualified and ready for a fulfilling new career.

I really enjoyed my certificate III course with All Care Training. I hadn’t studied for 14 years so the thought was quite daunting but the layout and structure of the course made learning easy. The teachers, Sonya and Lyn were more supportive than I could have ever imagined and their teaching skills clear and precise.
The balance of the course as in being in class then on work placement then back in class and so forth was a perfect way to lean for me as I’m very much a hands on learner. Things I learnt in class just seemed so much easier to understand when practicing them in the work place.
I recommend ACT to anyone wanting to get into the Aged care Sector. I already had 2 jobs lined up before I’d even finished the course. Such an uplifting, encouraging and rewarding experience.

I found this certificate III in Aged care through All Care Training thoroughly enjoyable. Being a lot younger than the other candidates in the course I thought I would struggle to connect with clients and colleagues in the workplace however I felt welcomed and appreciated when undergoing placement.
I noticed by the end of the 6 weeks that the course was structured in a way that allowed us to learn in blocks in our written assessments and then apply what we learnt in the workplace before going back to learn more. I think this approach made the course less stressful and allowed more room for improvements when going back into the workplace. With the help from Sonya and Lee and the encouragement that I needed in the beginning, they bought all their knowledge, understanding and years of experience that provided me with the confidence to excel in this career. I completed the Cert III in Aged Care in October with All Care Training. I was the only male in class but that was a bonus as far as I’m concerned. Sonya and Lee delivered that training material in a way that was interactive, involved class participation and more importantly for me, was very easy to comprehend.
We also had placements as part of the course at a residential and Rehab facility which gave us an excellent opportunity to put our classroom theory into real world practice. It also gave us an excellent idea of what to expect when entering the workforce.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding course to undertake and the best part is we all were offered employment before our course had even finished. That in itself speaks volumes for the quality of training we received and the fantastic rapport All Care Training have with the local Aged Care Facilities.

After not studying for 7 years I enrolled in my Certificate 3 in Aged care. My trainers Sonya and Lee supported me throughout all the steps in my course.
